Plus she’s shared a recipe as well. Enough from me, I’ll turn the time over to author Minette Lauren to talk about her new novel Cupcakes and Kisses.

I had a lot of fun writing, Cupcakes and Kisses, the very first book in my Hot in Magnolia series. Melvina Banks is a woman who knows her way around baking, and besides her amazing talents in the kitchen, she’s got a heart of gold. She feeds mouthwatering baked goods to the hardworking firefighters and residents of Magnolia on a daily basis. When she’s not working at Pop’s diner, she volunteers at the library to help with the literacy program and heads up the treasury for the Magnolia Blossom’s Ladies’ League. One of her favorite things to bake for the diner is homemade bread. So today, I would like to share one of her most special recipes below.
